Stringer Industries LLC. is a full-service general contracting firm based in Austin, TX, working across the city and all over the country. Over the past 20+ years, we’ve completed projects across hundreds of commercial and residential properties. We can build absolutely anything, from highly customized commercial interiors to one-off environments and all the weird stuff in between. The projects that don’t fit clean categories are usually the ones that land on our desk.

Over the last decade, a large part of our work has focused on the art world—especially vintage movie posters and their conservation, custom framing, and gallery installations. We’ve done work for South by Southwest, Chevrolet, Fantastic Fest, Terrible Love Coffee, Metro Private Cinema, Blue Genie, and many others. And if you’ve ever been inside an Alamo Drafthouse, anywhere in the country, there’s a good chance we’ve had a hand in it.

Our work regularly takes us across the country, including projects in Boston, New York City, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, and many more. Whether it’s a single install or a full environment build-out, we’re comfortable working wherever the project takes us.

Some days we’re in the shop restoring decades-old posters and building custom frames. Other days we’re on the road installing full collections, large set pieces, and environments that didn’t exist a few weeks earlier.

We’re deeply dedicated to the art world, but we’re also builders in the truest sense. We work alongside architects, engineers, designers, tradespeople, and artists to bring ideas to life and turn concepts into real, functioning spaces. We understand how to bridge vision and execution—especially when the work doesn’t fit neatly into a box.
